Idaho Mountain Engagement

Logan and Taeya

My journey with these has been so fun. When I first moved back to Idaho, I reached out to them to model for me. I instantly fell in love with them, flash forward a year later and they asked me to take their engagements. We escaped to the mountains and had the best night catching up and talking future plans. I can’t wait for next month when we are traveling to Jackson Hole for their bridals!

their love story:

I had no intentions of dating anyone in high school and especially not from my school. At least that’s what I always told myself growing up! but little did I know my sisters best friend would one day be my husband. My fiancé and sister grew up as good friends and I would always tell her she needed to date him because I thought he was just the cutest and sweetest kid ever! She would always respond “ew no.” I always laugh because they said they thought of each other as a brother and sister. I mean.. who knew that would one day be true?! One day my sister got a group of friends to walk up to a water tower in town, Logan was there with the group and my sister forced me to go with. Logan threw a little rock up at the water tower from the bottom, and out of anywhere it could hit on that big thing, it hit ME. I was so mad and threw it back down and told him to watch himself! We ended up talking a little on the walk down from the water tower and for some reason that simple conversation was all I could think about for the rest of the night. I was just completely infatuated with him from that time on. Well, time did go on for awhile, and Logan ended up telling my sister he thought I was cute and she should set something up with us. My sister was all for it and decided to set us up, and the rest is history. We clicked so well from there on out. At just 15 & 16 we became best friends, inseparable. One day on our homecoming date we stopped at the Logan temple and Logan told me he was going to marry me one day. It was the first time he ever told me that. As a teenager I was hesitant at those words, but throughout the years i came to know for myself that I would one day marry him too. 4 years later and Logan proposed to me in that same spot he told me he’d marry me when we were just 16 & 17 years old.
